A New Adventure Begins

Big day for Josh. First day of school. What makes it unique is that it is his first day of public school. We have always taken the education of our kids on a year-to-year basis. Thus far they have experienced Christian schools and home school. We wanted as parents to build a solid foundation so that we could feel confident in one day releasing them to be salt and light. Josh and Anna were both signed-up for the Christian school this year. But yesterday we found out that Josh's good friend and the only other boy in the class would not be attending, leaving Josh alone in a class full of girls. In a few years he may appreciate that scenario, but not now. So, this morning he is off to San Antonio elementary school where a lot of his football buddies attend. I am excited for him. He is a great kid and I really am confident in his ability to represent Christ. That's a great feeling.
